In 1847, along the banks of Jacob’s Creek, Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard. His vision was to create great tasting wines that reflect the true character of the grapes and the land. To this day we live and breathe this vision by producing wines that showcase how each grape variety expresses itself when shaped by the soil and the sun of Australia. In over 160 years of heritage, Jacob's Creek has won almost 7,000 awards. Aromas of dark plums, cassis and black olives with underlying cedar-oak spice. This is a full bodied wine showing fresh blackberry and red fruits, balanced by earthy notes and some savory spice, supported by fine structural tannis typical of Cabernet Saugivnon from Coonawarra.
